    About the Higher Learning Commission

The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) is one of seven regional accreditors in the United States. It is an institutional accreditor recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation to accredit degree-granting colleges and universities. Institutional accreditation validates the quality of an institution's academic programs and overall operations, including governance, finance, and resources, through rigorous peer review and ongoing monitoring.

Edgewood University has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission since 1958, with its most recent 10-year re-accreditation in 2018-2019. Edgewood University offers globally accessible, affordable programs, including an MBA (14 months), DBA (24 months), and dual degrees in business and education (30 months).
