  • This course equips the students with the insight necessary to develop interpersonal relationships that will build teams, increase productivity, enhance the quality of work life, orchestrate change, improve employee retention, and augment communication.

  • This course allows the students to apply marketing knowledge in addressing strategic decision-making situations. It emphasizes the use of analytical skills in making judgments under uncertainty in a variety of marketing contexts.

  • This course provides the students with an understanding of how to collaborate with IT experts while making business decisions with a significant technology component.

  • This course is designed to provide insight into managerial accounting concepts with a focus on real-world application. It examines managerial accounting tools and resources that assist managers with business decisions spanning different disciplines.

  • This course introduces students to corporate finance. It covers topics like financial statement analysis, cost of capital, capital structure, common stock valuation, capital budgeting, and corporate restructuring and failure.

  • The course is designed to help students learn how to identify, dissect, and answer strategic management problems. To remedy the crucial challenges facing organizations, students will research, analyze, and evaluate solutions.

  • Through this course (capstone project), students will develop an understanding of strategy and its formulation, implementation, and evaluation. The course incorporates elements of marketing, finance, operations, and quantitative analysis.

  • This course provides an overview of academic scholarship and prepares the doctoral student for performing business research. Students use critical thinking models and practices, including the role of assumptions, to identify business problems.

  • This course explains application of quantitative analytical techniques to problems in business. The programming language R will be introduced.

  • In this course learn what constitutes qualitative research, how to apply qualitative research methods. This involves students identifying appropriate qualitative research plans, developing research questions, conducting a planned analysis, and communicating their findings.

  • Topics include the accounting conceptual framework, the accounting information system, advanced financial statement preparation, footnote disclosures and more. The course includes an introduction to Sage Peachtree accounting software.

  • The course’s focus is upon how accounting information can assist managers in controlling the activities for which they are responsible, and how manager’s use cost information to make better decisions to improve their organization’s competitiveness.

  • This course builds upon the content from Business Law I, presenting topics such as commercial paper, real property, secured transactions, bankruptcy, partnerships, corporations, wills and trusts through a case study approach.

  • This online course examines the various private and governmental insurance programs common in the U.S., with a special focus on Wisconsin policies and practices.

  • This course will define the role of the integrated health care leadership administrative and clinical teams in improving culture, environments, clinical and operating processes to efficiently and effectively achieve improved outcomes.

  • Study of local, state, and federal policy on health services and payment organization of the U.S. health care system. Legal, regulatory and legislative influences are discussed.

  • Leadership provides students with an overview of a variety of theories, methods, and models of leadership, with an emphasis on the cultural context in which leadership is pursued. Explore your own model of leadership by reflecting on the models presented in class.

  • This course focuses on how people’s behavior is influenced by their actions and the actions of others in organizational settings. The course is designed to be highly practical, current, and relevant.

  • Investigates the nature of change, forces for change, and the impact of change on its recipients.

Admission to the Doctoral Completion Program is based on a holistic assessment of prior learning, professional experience, and commitment to the completion of the degree. To qualify, you will need:

  • Transcript(s) of 24 post-master’s degree credits. Credits must:
  • Be earned within the last 20 years
  • Be doctoral-level credits earned at a regionally accredited institution
  • Be in an education-related or educational leadership field (*applicants who have significant work experience in the field of education or educational leadership who earned doctoral credits in a field other than education may be considered for acceptance)
  • Demonstrate a minimum GPA of 3.0 in doctoral-level coursework

  • Higher Learning Commission Accredited
  • Business programs accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business School and Programs (ACBSP)
  • The university is part of 30+ Associations
  • Top 100 Best MBAs in Leadership by University HQ

*The MBA program is accredited by ACBSP. The DBA Program is currently in candidacy with ACBSP for accreditation.  The DBA Program will receive full accreditation once it has met all ACBSP requirements.

Refund Policy:

1. You can claim a refund for the amount paid towards the Program at any time, before the Program Start Date, by visiting www.upgrad.com and submitting your refund form via the "My Application" section under your profile. You can request your Admissions Counsellor to help you in applying and withdrawing for a refund by sending them an email with reasons listed. For post program refund please connect with your Admissions Counselor to understand the policy. This is applicable even for those students who could not complete their payment, and could not be enrolled in the batch opted for. However, the student can avail pre-deferral as per the policy defined below for the same.

2. Student must pay the full fee within seven (7) days of payment of the deposit amount or Batch Start Date, whichever is earlier; otherwise, the admission letter will be rescinded.

3. Request for refund as per point no. 1 of the refund policy must be sent via email in the prescribed refund request form. The refund will be processed within 30 working days of submitting the duly signed refund form, after being duly approved by the Academic Committee.
